FAIRY TALE

A fairy tale begins with ‘Once upon a time’ and ends with ‘and they live happily ever after’ wherein the protagonist is a princess waiting for her knight in a shining armor or a prince charming so to speak and the antagonist is an evil troll or a wicked witch. Then, this wicked witch or evil troll envied this princess, she will put the princess to fall on a spell and only her prince charming can break it using his magical kiss of love. Sweet! Nice! And every girl dreamt of becoming a princess and longing for her prince, right? Yes, with complete accessories. Crown- made out of flowers with a little wild plant as an accent. Gown- favorite blanket making it look like a beautiful dress fit for a princess. And the shoes- oh! It reminds me of Cinderella, her famous glass slippers or, some little girls do not mind wearing their usual slippers. Then, she closes her eyes, and imagines herself walking in a meadow of flowers, with birds chirping along side and a prince waiting for her. Hmm, a seven or eight year old girl does this imagining thing more often, but for others beyond this age, I don’t think so, hmm...maybe some still do ‘I am a princess imagination moment’ thing. Why not? It’s not bad! Let’s just say it’s a healthy lady-thing-to-do. Right? Hmmm…alright then, if it is okay, let’s do it now… I want you to close your eyes for a while, imagine you are wearing this lovely gown, your choice of details and designs, of course, lovely shoes, and a crown fit for a princess. Then, once you’ve open your eyes, please do imagine that you are still wearing these clothes, shoes and crown and that lovely smile of yours. Now read the letter from your prince…

Dearest PRINCESS (your name),

How is my beautiful princess? It’s been a while since we had our last talk, so I send you this letter. Everyday, I longed to talk to you but it seems that you are full of activities but as I can see you are growing up as a beautiful lady. Though I’ve been with you always and never leave you, I still do miss you, our serious talks even the petty ones, I really missed it a lot.

By the way, you looked really astonishing with your dress. It really suits well for a princess like you. I remember when you were little, you always wear this lovely smile that really goes well with your dress, but it seems that you have forgotten to put that genuine and lovely curve on your face. And sometimes, I see you cry. I am really hurt upon seeing that. My heart is breaking every time you are sad. So I’m giving you my caress but it seems you don’t notice. But I’ll comfort you whatever it takes.

I know you are facing a lot of tribulations as you grow up but I’ve told you need not to worry for I am with you always. And as I can see, you are growing valiantly, a strong woman with a strong foothold. Again, I am very well pleased seeing you growing as a beautiful and strong princess as you acknowledged me as your savior from every battle you are facing. Remember my princess, when you are weary, I will carry your yoke and you may find rest in me.

My princess, I love you so much, so please do not feel as if you are not loved by anyone. Again my heart breaks when you feel that. You know that, I had loved you first; all the more I’ve given my life for you. I always wanted to say how much I love you, but sometimes you do not have an ear for you to hear. I wanted to show you how much I love you, but sometimes you do not have an eye for you to see. I wanted you to feel how much I love you, but sometimes, you became so numb and don’t feel anything. I wanted to be with you but sometimes, you are going too far that I could not even reach you. But, you know how much I love you my dear princess.

My princess, I longed to see you grow as lovely as you are now. I longed to be within your heart because I love you. While I wait for you, my love grows more and more for you. I hope to talk to you soon my princess. I love you.

Your prince,

JESUS CHRIST

You are a princess even without wearing a gown, lovely shoes or even a crown for your father is the King of all kings. You are a princess even without living in a realm, for in a simple home where the King, your father resides, is the genuine realm no one can falter and conquer. You are a princess even without all the riches in this world, for in the Kingdom of your father, love overflows, gold and silver brim over. The ‘Once upon a time…they lived happily ever after’ in the tale portrays a significant part of your life for you are a princess and your prince is waiting for you to answer his call. He is waiting dear princess. He is waiting…
