We dwell more often than not in circumstances that greatly affects our emotions. We usually tend to safeguard others’ sentiments while compromising our own. For some reason it is tolerable, but it creates a topsy-turvy plight of your system. For some time, you can manage it with easy-to-do-it-yourself stress management. Then it goes again and again, a merry-go-round of perplexity, round-the-clock heavy duty. Then, it hits you with a bang! Boom! Then you mused onto it so much that it leads you to a state of depression. You feel hopeless and wretched. Your system is out of tune. There is no good timing to you and you envision a despicable life. You start to blame yourself then. You’re messing the status quo or your life – things related to you like work or studies even your relationships. All are in a merry-go-round of perplexity. Then, you start blaming others. You think that everyone within your circle is duping around. Pondering on who’s-why’s- and how’s of life thinking that you cannot cling onto something strong and you are always getting astray. All the while you feel so empty and lost. But the truth is there is someone lifting you, carrying your cross. In times you feel down and weary he is there patiently waiting for you to call him. All throughout the times you keep on believing that you are alone, the truth is you were not alone. Someone is staying beside you, someone is listening to your sentiments, and someone is holding you back hence a steadfast stronghold. You were never alone and you will never be for the Lord said “for I am with you always”. This truth defies all the facts saying that you are alone because you are not. Like the foot prints on the sand, in times you feel down and weary the Lord is carrying you and giving you rest by his own hands and love.
